This book is a detailed history of all Percival and Hunting types from the 1930s up to and including the Strikemaster with full production histories, a range of detailed three view drawings and 32 pages of colour illustrations. Percival, along with Miles, were iconic aeroplane manufacturers of the 1930s, 40's and early 50's. The name Percival will always be linked to Alex Henshaw's record setting flight to South Africa and back. The book details the well known Gull family of aircraft of the 1930s, the production during the Second World War of the Proctor communications and training aircraft, the post-war aircraft, including the Prentice and Prince/Pembroke and of course the Provost, Jet Provost ( produced at Luton under the auspices of BAC until 1966), and the construction of Jet Provost T5 and Strikemaster at Hurn and Warton By BAC/BAe. The book includes full and detailed production lists of all types of Percival and Hunting aircraft. This is a complementary volume to the highly successful Miles Aircraft already published by Air-Britain
